FIRE SAFETY TRAINING

We offer the following trainings:

1) Hot work training

(can be ordered for groups of 10+ participants)

 

2) Training for the person responsible for fire safety

(can be ordered for groups of 10+ participants)

• ​The training is intended for persons responsible for fire safety in companies and institutions required to submit a fire safety self-inspection report, whose duties include ensuring fire safety, submitting the self-inspection report and carrying out evacuations. Company or property owners and other persons given responsibility for fire safety are also welcome.
   

• The aim of the curriculum is to give the person responsible for fire safety and evacuation in an organisation the knowledge needed to ensure safe evacuation and fire-safe housekeeping.

• Topics covered: 

  •  Self-inspection, preparing the fire safety report

  •  Causes of fires, risk and hazard assessment

  •  Organising fire safety in an organisation: principles and documentation

  •  Ensuring structural fire safety

  •  Various installations, keeping them operational and organising maintenance

  •  Various fire safety trainings, their organisation and delivery

  •  Requirements for hot work

• After the training, the participant knows the fire safety legislation, can organise fire safety in the company, carry out fire safety self-inspection, prepare the fire safety report and instruct employees on fire safety.

3) Fire safety instruction

​

• The aim of the training is to teach employees how to act in case of fire, based on their workplace.

• Teaching methods: lecture, discussion, video material, analysis of real situations and a practical exercise.

• The training consists of a theoretical part (approx. 90 min) and a practical fire extinguisher exercise.

• After the training, participants know the firefighting equipment at their workplace and can use it.

4) Evacuation training & drill

​

Aim, parts and methodology of the fire safety training:

• The aim of the training is to explain the institution’s fire action plan and the possibilities for safe evacuation.

• The training consists of a theoretical part (approx. 90 min), a practical fire extinguisher exercise and an evacuation drill.

• Teaching methods: lecture, discussion, video material, analysis of real situations, a practical exercise and a practical evacuation drill.

What will participants be able to do?

• After the training, participants can recognise hazards in their institution and evacuate safely.

​​

Is an evacuation drill mandatory?

• An evacuation drill is mandatory for everyone required to submit a self-inspection report!

5) Fire extinguisher handling training​

​

Why is fire extinguisher training needed?

• Fire extinguisher training gives employees the skills and confidence to use an extinguisher when needed.

• The training briefly covers the basics of extinguishing and lets participants put out fires with different extinguishers.
  
   

The training consists of a theoretical part (approx. 30 min) and a practical exercise.
​

After the training, participants can handle the most common extinguishers and know which ones to use in different situations.

​
